  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • Fast-paced environment with approximately 60 patients per day
  • Must have charge and triage experience
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS (AHA) required
    • BLS (AHA) required
    • NIHSS required (facility is working on becoming a stroke ready hospital)
    • PALS (AHA) required
    • TNCC required
    • Previous EPIC experience required
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts
      • Start times: 7am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 7pm
      • Self-scheduling and block scheduling allowed if unit needs are met
      • Weekend requirement: usually 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
      • Holiday rotation required
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: ER - Level IV Trauma Center
        • 18-Beds ER with capacity to go up to 21-Beds
        • Charge Nurse covers Triage approximately 6 hours/day
        • Security guard in the waiting room or ER 24/7
        • RN's draw their own lab draws unless difficult stick
        • RT is in-house 24/7
        • Pharmacy is not 24/7, RN's responsible for mixing drips after hours
          • Additional Details
          • Submission Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
          • Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
          • Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
          • Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
          • Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply
          • Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
          • Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening
