All internals must have manager's approval to transfer.JOB DESCRIPTION:SAPNS2 is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of Senior Functional Consultant in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate works well with a team and has the desire and aptitude to learn new software, cloud applications, and information technology concepts. This role is part of a broader team implementing and maintaining SAP solutions. As a functional consultant, you will work closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into requirements for configuration and development of new functionality.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applications.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
• Serve as a liaison between the technical team and the stakeholders.
• Design and develop new functions or improve existing ones.
• Gather and analyze requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experience.
• Interface with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities.
• Create documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and help files.
• Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirements.
• Provide technical support to end users and help them troubleshoot issues with software applications.Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience, 3-5 years, working as part of a team as a consultant.
  • Prior experience with enterprise software or cloud applications, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Google.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Education:Required undergraduate university degree, or equivalent training and job experience.Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S citizenship.Note: The job description is meant to be a guideline. The targeted combined range for this position is 99000 - 216000 (USD).
