Job Description:
Hourly Wage: $17 - $22/ Per Hour
Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Hardscape Laborer to
join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
assisting in the installation of hardscape projects, including
patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor living spaces.
This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the
ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Hardscape Installations: Help install patios,
walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and other
hardscape features using a variety of materials such as pavers,
bricks, stones, concrete, and other natural or manufactured
materials.
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of job sites,
including digging, grading, and leveling the ground to ensure a
solid and stable base for hardscape installations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move construction
materials and tools to and from job sites as needed.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate small machinery and equipment
such as compactors, saws, and power tools. Training will be
provided if necessary.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines and
maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents or
injuries.
- Assist with Cleanup: Perform job site cleanup by removing
debris, excess materials, and maintaining cleanliness throughout
the project.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the crew members,
foreman, and other team members to ensure projects are completed
efficiently and to the highest standards. Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, construction,
or hardscaping is preferred but not required. Willing to train the
right candidate.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50-75
lbs), stand, kneel, bend, and work on your feet for extended
periods.
- Dependability: Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
are essential.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and pay
attention to details, ensuring quality craftsmanship.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable
transportation to job sites are preferred.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with others
and take direction from the foreman or supervisor. Working
Conditions:
- Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions (heat,
cold, rain, etc.).
- Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM,
with occasional overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
