Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key
functional program area providing full lifecycle engineering
support for systems monitoring and applications management services
that provide systems alerts, including monitoring for enterprise
system performance and availability and providing guidance and
engineering for upgrades, systems modifications, and updates. The
functional area also provides operational support for applications
deployed across the sponsor's enterprise, including release
management configuration management and data analysis. This is a
fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience providing
top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and
high-profile programs within the government.We are actively looking
for an experience Program Manager to join our IT team. This Program
Manager needs to be able to understand and execute the basic
traditional principals of IT program management such as managing
requirements, costs, schedules, quality, etc., they must also have
a solid understanding of the overseas alignment and hierarchy as it
relates to eCables traffic. ABCRequired Education, Experience, &
Skills The right candidate will have a minimum of eleven (11)
years' of work experience. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree are
preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where
specific skills and responsibilities may include the
following...Responsibilities:
- Provide communication that leads to the understanding of
deadlines, assignments and objectives across all enterprise
stakeholders and ensure all project issues are resolved promptly to
avoid negative impact to the budget or schedule
- Communicate with the Field
- Send eCables
- Procurement and Procurement Logistics
- Resolving cross-program issues and strategic issues with senior
IT stakeholders
- Work with the technical teams to ensure understanding of the
projects/programs
- Work with stakeholders to remove project blockers to ensure
timely delivery
- Track progress and project metrics
- Report & Brief senior leadership on project status, metrics,
risks, issues, etc.
- Ensure all systems within purview are security compliant
- Demonstrating "visible" support to the program and its
technical team
- Ability to handle various responsibilities such as planning,
scheduling and coordinating all areas of a project
- "Leading by example" the transformational change brought about
by the program
- Confirming successful delivery and signs-of at the program
closure
- Resolve issues that arise
- Serve as part coach, part facilitator
- Create, analyze, and brief out the board's reports and
dashboards
- Capture, document and track new requirements
- Promote the empowerment of the team by ensuring team members
are fully engagesRequired Skills
- Solid understanding of the overseas alignment and hierarchy as
it relates to eCables
- Familiar with the customers' procurement system and
process
- Excellent Leadership skills
- Ability to accurately capture, document and track new IT
requirements in an agile environment
- Ability to handle various responsibilities such as planning,
scheduling and coordinating all areas of IT projects
- Experience resolving cross-program issues and strategic issues
with senior IT stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on fast paced, high visibility IT
projects/programs
- Ability to pivot as priorities dictate
- Familiarity with IT project collaboration tools (e.g., Jira,
ServiceNow)Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- PMP Certification
- Familiar with customers' procurement logistics
- Experience creating, analyzing, and briefing out the board's
reports and dashboards.
- Experience managing large enterprise projects in an Agile
environment
- Knowledge & experience with customers' A&A processPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
